Sarah Ramesh completed her medical studies at the University of Cologne and subsequently worked in the Dermatology Department of Cologne University Hospital. Her main focuses there were the management of clinical studies on malignant melanoma (skin cancer) and Merkel cell carcinoma, as well as skin cancer prevention and follow-up care for high-risk patients.

She also worked in outpatient care, treating a wide range of complex dermatological cases. Later, she joined a psoriasis-focused practice, where she cared for numerous patients with psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. The treatment spectrum included topical therapy, balneophototherapy, and initiation of biologics. Additional focuses in the practice included outpatient surgery, allergy diagnostics and treatment, acne therapy including systemic treatments, and an emergency consultation service covering a broad range of dermatological diagnoses.
