Dr. med. Stephen Reinauer studied human medicine at the universities of Düsseldorf, Heidelberg, Freiburg, and Zurich. On August 1, 1990, he joined the Department of Dermatology at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf under the direction of Prof. Dr. Plewig, where he obtained his board certification in dermatology in 1994 and in allergology in 1995. During his time at the university, he published numerous scientific articles.

Since then, he has worked in his own private practice as a specialist in dermatology and allergology, before handing over the practice to his successor in 2026. His areas of focus included dermatologic surgery, laser medicine, photodynamic therapy, laboratory medicine, and allergology.

Dr. Reinauer also holds additional certifications in laser safety, phlebology, laboratory medicine, radiology, lipolysis, cosmetology, as well as Botox and hyaluronic acid treatments.

Since April 1, 2026, Dr. Stephen Reinauer has been part of the dermanostic medical team and is responsible for patient care in the external services division.
