Dr. Papakonstantinou completed her medical studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. During her studies, she participated in an Erasmus student exchange program at the University of Duisburg-Essen.

After graduation, Dr. Papakonstantinou began her specialist training in dermatology and venereology at Magdeburg University Hospital and completed it at Hannover Medical School. She then worked most recently at the dermatology practice “Hautärzte am Markt” as a dermatologist, focusing on clinical and operative dermatology.

Dr. Papakonstantinou has published articles in renowned German and international medical journals and contributed several book chapters. She is also the author of an English-language book on the topic of “Urticaria.”

Her doctoral thesis focused on “Atopic Dermatitis in Childhood” (neurodermatitis), and she received her doctorate with summa cum laude from Hannover Medical School.

Additional information: Dr. Papakonstantinou is a mother of two and, in addition to German and English, speaks Greek fluently.

She firmly believes that teledermatology is part of the future, as it allows the best care for many patients who would otherwise have limited access to dermatologists.

Since May 2022, Dr. Papakonstantinou has been part of the dermanostic medical team, treating our patients on a daily basis.
