You can pay via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Giropay, invoice, or SEPA direct debit via Klarna.
Does my health insurance cover the costs?
Services are billed according to the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ) and are generally self-paid.
Some statutory health insurers cover the costs fully (e.g., VIACTIV, BKK Linde, BKK Akzo Nobel, BIG direkt gesund, Postbeamtenkrankenkasse, BKK B. Braun).
Private health insurance usually reimburses the Basic Package fully. For Plus and Express Packages, only partial reimbursement may be possible.
Do I get a private prescription?
Yes. After your medical diagnosis, you can request a private prescription in the app, which is sent directly to your chosen local or online pharmacy.
Can I get a sick note (AU) or referral?

We do not issue traditional referral slips.
However, you can download your medical report as a PDF and present it at a clinic or practice—it is sufficient in most cases.What if a diagnosis isn’t possible?
If a reliable diagnosis cannot be made despite suitable images, you will receive a full refund.
Where can I find my invoice?
Invoices are available as a PDF in the dermanostic app under “Case Data” → “Invoice & Reimbursement.”
