Ms. Vavouli completed her medical studies at the University of Patras in Greece. As part of a student exchange program, she gained experience in dermatology as an observer at the Dermatology Department of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, followed by an observership at the dermatology department of the University of Cologne.
She then completed her specialist training in dermatology and venereology at renowned dermatology practices in Cologne and Frankfurt, as well as at Klinikum Hanau, an academic teaching hospital of Goethe University Frankfurt.
She successfully passed her specialist examination in dermatology and venereology through the State Medical Association of Hesse. Ms. Vavouli also obtained the additional qualification in allergology.
Until recently, she worked as a dermatologist and allergologist at the dermatology practice “Hautzentrum Nordwest” in Frankfurt am Main.
She is certified by the German Dermatological Academy (DDA) in the areas of dermoscopy / epiluminescence microscopy and aesthetic dermatology / cosmetology, as well as by the German Society for Botulinum Toxin (DGBT) in the use of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid.
According to her professional focus, she is a member of several medical societies, including DDG (German Dermatological Society), DGDC (German Society for Dermatosurgery), DGAKI (German Society for Allergology and Clinical Immunology), EADV (European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology), EAACI (European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology), and ESPD (European Society for Pediatric Dermatology).
She speaks German, English, and Greek fluently.
