Simona Sabulyte completed her medical studies at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
She began her specialist training in dermatology and venereology at HELIOS University Hospital Wuppertal, where she continues to work as a senior physician. In parallel, she works as a specialist at the Skin, Allergy, and Laser Center of the L. Ueberhorst practice in Leverkusen.
Simona Sabulyte earned her doctorate at Witten/Herdecke University. Her research focused on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tumor thickness and prognostic factors of excised cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas. She investigated whether delays in healthcare during the pandemic affected the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer.
She speaks German, English, and Lithuanian fluently.
