Prof. Dr. Lehmann completed his medical studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
Clinically, he was senior consultant and deputy clinic director of the Dermatology Clinic of the University Hospital Düsseldorf and head physician of the Clinic for Dermatology, Allergology and Environmental Medicine at the Helios University Hospital Wuppertal. During his 20 years at the Helios Klinikum, he established the department for photodynamic therapies there.
Prof. Lehmann pursued his teaching activities at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and at the Clinic for Dermatology, Allergology and World Medicine in Wuppertal. He is also co-author of more than 60 medical publications and has published more than 400 times in various journals.
Prof. Lehmann held the position of Chairman of the Association of German Dermatological Chief Physicians, as well as Chairman of the Israeli-German Dermatological Society.
He currently works as a senior consultant for the Helios University Hospital in Wuppertal.
