Dr Wallaeys completed her medical studies at the University of Ghent in Belgium. She began her further training as a specialist in dermatology at the skin clinic of the University Hospital Düsseldorf and completed it in a practice.

Our specialist Dr Wallaeys runs a private practice in Wetteren in Belgium with a focus on general dermatology and heads the dermatology department of the hospital in Wetteren. She is a member of the Belgian Professional Association of Dermatology and Venereology.

She has already published several papers and is, among others, co-author of the dermatological reference book "Porphyria cutanea tarda with sclerodermiform changes and haemochromatosis".

Worth knowing: Dr. Wallaeys was born in Belgium and speaks - besides German and English - also Dutch and French. She wrote her doctoral thesis on the subject of "vitiligo" (white spot disease).

Since April 2020, Dr Wallaeys has been a member of the dermanostic medical team and treats our patients on a daily basis.
