Dr Meyer-Lehmann completed her medical studies at the University of Mainz with a study visit to New York. She completed her further training as a specialist in dermatology at the skin clinic of the University Hospital Düsseldorf.

After completing her specialist training, Dr Meyer-Lehmann worked as the head of the dermatological-allergological practice "Hautnah Zentrum" in Düsseldorf until 2020.
