Dr Jacobi completed his medical studies at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He completed his further training as a specialist in dermatology at the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology of the University Hospital of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
During his professional career, he worked, among other things, as a functional senior physician and head of the psoriasis consultation hour at the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology of the Philipps University of Marburg and as a senior physician and head of the university psoriasis outpatient clinic and consultation hour for chronic inflammatory skin diseases at the Institute for Health Services Research in Dermatology and the Nursing Professions of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. He was awarded the title of Master of Arts (M.A.) in the field of management of health and social care institutions. With his habilitation on the topic: "Comorbidity in psoriasis vulgaris: epidemiology, pathogenesis and quality of care" at the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg, he was awarded the teaching authorisation "Venia legendi" as a private lecturer in the field of skin and venereal diseases by the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg.
He is currently head of the dermatology department at the AUGEN & HAUT ZENTRUM - Praxis Dr. Jacobi in Nuremberg.
Dr Jacobi has already published numerous papers in renowned journals, including on topics such as skin cancer, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He also received the poster prize of the German Dermatological Society in 2011 and the poster prize of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Forschung e.V. in 2012. Since 2018, he has been a member of the board and press officer of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Ästhetische Dermatologie und Kosmetologie.
Since April 2020, Dr Jacobi has been a member of the dermanostic medical team and treats our patients on a daily basis.
