Doing good, helping people, healing people — that's why I studied medicine.
During my specialist training at Düsseldorf University Hospital, I met the aspiring dermatologist Dr. med. Estefanía Lang. We were immediately united by a great deal, but in particular by a common vision: to digitize medicine!
Where do you start there? On the one hand, by improving doctors' education and training opportunities. We founded medi-login — an academy for aesthetic medicine and dermatology.
During my studies and my specialist training, I repeatedly received pictures of skin changes from relatives and acquaintances who wanted to hear my assessment — a diagnosis via app. This shows a need from patients: easy, digital access to the dermatologist without waiting weeks.
This gave rise to the next vision: In 2019, I founded online dermatology practice dermanostic together with Estefanía, my husband Ole and her husband Patrick. With this telemedicine application, we want to drive digitization in healthcare and help shape tomorrow's medicine. Through our app, we make dermatologist treatments barrier-free and independent of time and location.
As COO, I am primarily responsible for patient communication, marketing and PR. I share the story and benefits of telemedicine — both via social media and on stages and events.
